Dan Sachoff
Dan Sachoff is the kind of multi-talented performer that comes around once in a lifetime. With a broadcasting degree from Emerson College under his belt, he began his career in television as a news anchor on Boston's ABC affiliate. But, his true love for comedy and improv began to push him to find a more creative outlet and with an invitation to join the Groundlings, Dan set his sights on Hollywood to launch his career as a comedian, actor and host.

As an actor Dan's credits include his current recurring role on TNT's drama The Closer as well as a recurring role on the final season of the FOX drama Prison Break. Guest starring roles include the HBO landmark series Big Love, the hit crime scene drama Bones (FOX), the Golden Globe nominated mini - series Sleeper Cell for Showtime, Shark (CBS), and a recurring role as "Harry Carmichael" on the apocalyptic thriller Jericho on CBS. Other acting credits include The West Wing, Judging Amy, Will & Grace and Scrubs. Nickelodeon fans my also recognize Dan from The Amanda Show as Amanda's crazy dad in the recurring sketches "Cookie Dooper & The Extremes".

As a television host Dan recently wrapped 90 episodes of Ready For The Weekend on USA Network. Shot in a different city each week, this fast paced show provided the perfect platform for Dan's comedic abilities. In addition to his hosting duties, Dan also contributed to the show behind the camera as a writer and producer.

On the internet Dan is known to web-surfers as Gene Balboa, the slick entertainment mogul from the acclaimed channel 101 series Yacht Rock. Dan appears in episodes 2 (Keep The Fire), 3 (I'm Alright), 8 (Gino The Manager), 10 (FM) and 11 (Footloose) opposite Jason Lee of My Name is Earl fame. Also on Dan's resume are his own web sensations, the viral video Todd Connor which he created and produced and Policeman vs. Fireman which he not only provided voices for but co-created.

As a writer Dan's credit's include Goldman / Dangler Presents - a short which was a finalist in the 2007 New York Television Festival, Four Comics In a Van - a pilot presentation for Direct tv and his stand up comedy that can be seen in clubs across the country as well as in corporate venues for fortune five hundred companies such as Cisco Systems, Dreamworks Animation and Enterasys Corporation. Crowds are always in for a surprise when Dan takes the stage as The Dude or Captain Dale Mckenna and can look forward to the unexpected during his set... be warned this is not your father's stand up comedy!
